Jay Busbee is the author of the novels The
Face of the River and the upcoming Bluff City. Born in Lynchburg,
Virginia and raised in Atlanta, he is a graduate of the College of William &
Mary and the University of Memphis’s Creative Writing MFA program.
He is a contributing editor of Atlanta magazine, and also writes the monthly "Painting the Corners" column for ChopTalk, the official Atlanta Braves magazine, and the weekly "Gone Yard" column for The Chicago Sports Review. He has scripted comic books published by Arcana Studio, Digital Webbing, and Hoarse & Buggy.
He has run three marathons, appeared in The People Vs. Larry Flynt, and continues to teach English at Georgia Perimeter College.
He lives in Atlanta with his wife Annarita, an attorney, and his daughter Riley and son Logan.
